Stroops Affiliate Program Terms (Awin)

Network. These terms apply to participation via Awin and are in addition to Awin’s Publisher Terms.
1) Enrollment & Eligibility
Applications are approved at our discretion. We may decline or remove any publisher.
Ineligible properties include: adult/violent/hate/illegal content; IP infringement; download/toolbars/extensions; misleading or deceptive content; sites that mimic Stroops or include our trademarks (or misspellings) in a domain.
2) How You May Promote Stroops (Allowed)
Content creators: blogs, reviews, long-form guides, YouTube/videos, social posts, podcasts.
Community: forums/Discord/Reddit where posts are organic and non-spam.
Email to your own, opt-in subscribers compliant with CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR.
Always include clear FTC/ASA disclosures for endorsements.
3) What’s Not Allowed (Prohibited Traffic)
Coupon/Code directories, Loyalty/Cashback, Price comparison, Media brokers/sub-affiliate networks, toolbars/extensions, behavioral retargeting, adware, pop-ups/pop-unders, doorway pages, cookie stuffing, ad hijacking, fake incentives, AI/UGC spam.
PPC / Search ads (default): not permitted. No direct-linking. No bidding on our brand or brand+generic terms. No Google Shopping/CSS.
Brand terms (and misspellings/variants) are strictly prohibited:
Stroops, stroops.com, Slastix, VITL, Son of the Beast, The Beast, "Body Weight Gym", "Fit Stik"/Fitstik, plus any product names, model names, or common misspellings (e.g., sroops, stroop, stroopes).
Codes: Only creator-specific codes we issue to you may be used. Use of unauthorized/blanket codes is non-commissionable and may be reversed.
4) Linking, Tracking & Cookie
Use only Awin-provided links/creatives. Do not alter tracking parameters.
Current cookie length: 30 days.
5) Commission, Validation & Exclusions
Commission rate: as displayed in Awin for your account (private tiers may apply).
Commissionable value = net merchandise subtotal after discounts; excludes VAT/sales tax, duties, shipping/handling/insurance, gift-wrap, and payment/BNPL fees.
Not eligible: gift cards/store credit; B2B/wholesale/distributor orders; employee/contractor/self-purchases; replacement parts/service items; marketplace orders (e.g., Amazon/Walmart); orders using unauthorized codes; orders arising from prohibited traffic above.
We auto-validate within ~50 days of order date. We may decline or reverse for: cancellation, full/partial return, fraud/abuse, duplicate order, breach of these terms, or de-duplication (see §6).
6) De-Duplication & Attribution
We pay affiliates only when the affiliate click is the last eligible touch.
Sales credited to the following take precedence over Awin affiliate clicks and are not commissionable when last click:
(a) Stroops in-house brand and generic PPC/Shopping, (b) Stroops paid social/retargeting/display, (c) Stroops email/SMS/owned channels, (d) direct/contracted creator links/codes outside Awin, (e) price-comparison/coupon/loyalty (which are otherwise prohibited).
7) Brand & Creative Use
We grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use our name, logos, product images, and approved copy solely to promote Stroops via Awin. Follow our brand guidelines; no alteration or misuse.
8) Compliance
Follow all applicable laws and platform rules, including FTC/ASA disclosure, claims substantiation (no false/misleading performance or health claims), and privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA where applicable).
9) Term, Changes & Termination
Either party may terminate at any time by written notice via Awin or email. We may update these terms or commission rates (Awin notice applies); continued participation = acceptance.
We may withhold/forfeit commissions for fraud, prohibited tactics, or violations.
10) Warranty, Liability & Indemnity (standard)
Provided “as is”; we disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Our aggregate liability to you is limited to commissions paid to you under this program.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your sites, promotions, or breach of these terms.
11) Confidentiality & Relationship
Confidential information shared through Awin or by us must be kept confidential.
You are an independent contractor; no agency, partnership, or employment is created.
12) Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA (conflict-of-laws excluded).
