Terms and Conditions

Terms apply to e-commerce and m-commerce versions of Emoov.

1) PPC / Paid Search Policy (Strict)

Not permitted (without prior written approval from Emoov):

Any PPC promotion of Emoov.

Bidding on Emoov trademarks or confusingly similar variants (incl. misspellings, spacing/hyphenation, capitalization), and any TM+ queries (e.g., brand + reviews/login/contact/fees).

Direct linking from ads to any Emoov domain/subdomain/app store listing.

Use of Emoov brand terms or domains in ad copy, display URL, or path fields.

Outranking Emoov’s own paid search ads on any query (on request, bids must be lowered immediately).

Required controls:

Add all Appendix A terms as negative keywords across all search engines and geos.

Ensure automated bidding tools/scripts cannot target Emoov terms. 

Exceptions: Only valid if Emoov provides written, campaign-specific PPC permission in Awin messages/IO.
Enforcement: Breaches may result in 0% commission on impacted transactions, retroactive clawback, and programme removal. 

Legacy Brand Protection (Griffin)

To protect residual brand searches post rebrand, affiliates must treat Appendix B — Legacy Brand (Griffin) Keywords as prohibited/TM+ (no bidding, no appearance, add as negatives, no direct linking, no use in ad copy/paths/display URLs). We’ll review legacy coverage periodically.

2) Display URL & Domains

Do not include Emoov brand terms or confusingly similar domains in display URLs/paths/vanity domains (e.g., emoov.co.uk, www.emoov.co.uk, e-moov.co.uk, emoovcouk, etc.).

3) Landing Pages, Redirects & Framing

All clicks must first land on your site; then link to Emoov using Awin tracking.

No direct linking, auto-redirects, masked/overlaid URLs, doorway pages, or iFraming of Emoov.

4) Email Marketing

Pre-approval required for any email activity.

Lists must be opt-in; include brand identification, physical address, and one-click unsubscribe.

Honour any suppression lists provided. Comply with UK GDPR/PECR.

5) Incentives, Coupons & Deals

Promote only offers/codes issued in Awin or explicitly approved by Emoov.

No expired/unguarded/user-generated codes or implied exclusivity when none exists.

Cashback/loyalty/reward activity must be clearly disclosed and compliant with these Terms.

6) Sub-Networks & Transparency

Sub-networks allowed by exception only with full disclosure of sub-publishers and traffic sources.

Pass SubID/click references to enable compliance checks. You are responsible for sub-publisher activity.

7) Prohibited Technologies & Tactics

Adware, toolbars, plug-ins, malware/spyware, cookie stuffing, post-view injection, forced clicks, brand-term pop-unders, or any tech that hijacks/overwrites traffic.

Misleading claims (e.g., fees, availability), fake reviews, or review gating.

Traffic from illegal, harmful, or brand-unsafe content.

8) Social, Shopping & Other Paid Media

Paid social “search” placements and on-site search ads must follow the same PPC rules (no brand bidding, no direct linking, no brand in display/URL).

No use of Emoov brand terms in Shopping Ads/Feeds without approval.

9) Validation, Locking & Disputes

Standard Awin de-duplication/validation windows apply as configured in Programme settings (may de-dupe against Emoov direct channels).

Disputes: raise commission queries via Awin within 7 days of expected payment.

10) Commission

£32 per sales property listed.

£16 per lettings property listed.
Subject to tracking/validation and all Terms herein.

11) Monitoring & Contact

Emoov and Awin continuously monitor PPC and programme compliance.

If in doubt, contact Emoov via Awin before launching activity.

Appendix A — Prohibited Brand & Domain Keywords

Add all as negatives (exact/phrase). Covers capitalization, spacing, hyphenation, protocol/subdomain variants, and common typos.
