The default commission rate is 10%. Custom commission structures may apply based on promotional method or customer type (e.g., new vs. returning). Commissions on wholesale orders are not allowed.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT. YOU MAY PRINT THIS PAGE FOR YOUR RECORDS. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SANTA CRUZ SHREDDER. BY SUBMITTING THE ONLINE APPLICATION, YOU ARE AGREEING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND THAT YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR EACH TERM AND CONDITION.

1. Overview

This Agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to you becoming an affiliate in the Santa Cruz Shredder Affiliate Program. The purpose of this Agreement is to allow HTML linking between your website and Santa Cruz Shredder’s website. Throughout this Agreement, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Santa Cruz Shredder, and “you,” “your,” and “yours” refer to the affiliate.

2. Affiliate Obligations

2.1. Application and Eligibility

To begin the enrollment process, you will complete and submit the online application through the AWIN affiliate platform. We may reject your application at our sole discretion. We may cancel your application if we determine that your site is unsuitable for our Program, including if it:

Promotes sexually explicit materials not aligned with our brand ethics

Promotes violence or discriminatory content

Promotes illegal activities

Infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable laws

Includes “Santa Cruz Shredder” or variations/misspellings in your domain name

Uses downloadable software that could divert or hijack affiliate tracking

Imitates or misleads users into believing they are interacting with Santa Cruz Shredder

Is otherwise harmful, deceptive, or objectionable in our sole discretion

2.2. Affiliate Tools

As a member of the Santa Cruz Shredder Affiliate Program, you will have access to the Affiliate Account Manager within AWIN. There, you can review program terms, download banners and links, access newsletters, and generate tracking URLs. You must use the provided tracking codes to ensure accurate reporting.

2.3. Brand Alignment

We reserve the right to review your site or content at any time and request changes to ensure compliance with our brand guidelines.

2.4. Site Maintenance

You are responsible for maintaining your website, social media channels, or video platforms. We may periodically review your content to ensure it remains current and aligned with our standards.

2.5. Legal Compliance

You must comply with all applicable intellectual property laws. We are not liable for your misuse of third-party content.

2.6. FTC Compliance

Affiliates must comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) disclosure guidelines. Any material relationship with Santa Cruz Shredder must be clearly disclosed in content that features our products or brand.

3. Santa Cruz Shredder Rights and Obligations

3.1. Program Monitoring

We may monitor your website, social media, or video content to ensure compliance. If you do not make necessary changes, we reserve the right to terminate your participation.

3.2. Termination Rights

We may terminate this Agreement and your participation in the program at any time, with or without notice.

3.3. Agreement Duration

This Agreement begins upon our acceptance of your application and remains in effect until terminated by either party.

4. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice (email is acceptable). This Agreement also terminates immediately if you breach any of its terms.

5. Modifications

We may modify any part of this Agreement at any time. Notice will be provided by email. Your continued participation after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

6. Payment

Santa Cruz Shredder uses the AWIN affiliate network to manage tracking and commission payments. Please refer to AWIN’s terms for additional details on how payments are handled.

We pay commissions on qualifying affiliate sales made directly on santacruzshredder.com. If we request clarification on a transaction and do not receive a timely response, we may suspend your account or reverse commissions.

7. Access to Affiliate Account Interface

You will create login credentials for AWIN, where you can view performance metrics, commission history, and promotional materials.

8. Promotion Restrictions

You may promote your own properties, but any mention of Santa Cruz Shredder must follow these rules:

No unsolicited commercial emails (spam)

No identity concealment or misleading content

Affiliate emails must be sent only to opted-in recipients with valid opt-out options

Newsgroup postings must comply with relevant policies allowing commercial content

All promotions must comply with cannabis advertising laws, including age restrictions and local legal requirements

9. Paid Search (PPC) Policy

Bidding on the Santa Cruz Shredder brand name (e.g., “Santa Cruz Shredder,” “santacruzshredder.com”) is not permitted.

We allow limited bidding on “Santa Cruz Shredder + coupon” or similar keywords by pre-approved partners only (e.g., coupon or cashback affiliates). These affiliates may receive reduced commissions and must not imply official affiliation with the brand.

All other affiliates must add "Santa Cruz Shredder" and related brand terms to their negative keyword list. Violations of this policy may result in removal from the program.

10. Disclaimers and Content Requirements

Affiliates must comply with the following rules when promoting Santa Cruz Shredder:

No health claims may be made about product benefits or cannabis use.

Written or visual content must include this disclaimer:

“Santa Cruz Shredder products are intended for use with legal smoking materials only. These products are not for use with tobacco or illegal substances. Please check your local laws before purchase.”

Any depiction of cannabis use must comply with local laws and must not mislead consumers about its legal status.
