Newsletter:
Iceland sends weekly newsletters with the latest offers and online exclusives. Additionally, Iceland provides a weekly marketing pack with a breakdown of most reduced products.
Publisher Applications
We process publisher applications on a monthly basis and aim to either accept or decline an application within 30 days of the application date, therefore if you have not received a response after 2 months of applying then please do let us know.
Before being accepted onto the programme, most publishers will be contacted if their profile is unclear to provide further details.
Please note:
- New publishers must disclose all promotional activities and URLs.
- Publishers must also provide transparency about all traffic sources and the environment that ads are displayed in.
- Subnetworks specifically will be contacted prior to onboarding to establish whether they can provide a weekly breakdown of sub-publishers for traffic and sales and agree to remove any sub-publishers in violation of our T&Cs.
The following publisher types are not accepted onto the affiliate programme:
- Browser extensions
- CSS publishers
Once accepted, publishers will be provided with a detailed Welcome Pack that includes comprehensive brand guidelines.
Deduplication & Brand Bidding
Brand bidding is strictly forbidden unless previously agreed. This includes bidding on brand terms or generic. Publishers caught in unauthorised brand bidding will be removed from the programme and their commission will be declined. We follow a two strike rule and publishers contacted must respond within 24-48 hours to avoid immediate suspension.
Ad-hijacking is strictly forbidden and any publishers caught in this activity will be suspended with immediate effect and all commission will be declined.
Iceland dedupes against PPC generic, CRM, price comparison, CSS and direct partnerships.
Commission:
Commission will not be paid on amounts added to customer accounts.
Iceland do not pay commission on VAT, therefore the revenue tracked within the AWIN interface will show total price minus VAT.
Iceland validations are processed on a monthly basis. Furthermore TQ’s that are raised 6 months after the order date will be deemed invalid and declined.
The focus in on new customers therefore we offer the current commission structure:
- Any new customer sale: 3% of basket value* (with range to increase)
- Any existing customer sale: 1% of basket value*
