Branding Guidelines

As a SmithHönig affiliate, you represent a luxury, design-forward brand. To ensure our products and identity are presented consistently and in line with our positioning, please follow these guidelines:

1. Brand Name & Usage

Always spell our brand name as SmithHönig (with the umlaut).

Acceptable alternate (only if special characters are unavailable): SmithHonig.

Do not abbreviate, misspell, or alter the brand name.

2. Logos & Creative Assets

Use only approved logos, banners, and product imagery provided via the Awin network.

Logos may not be stretched, cropped, recolored, or modified in any way.

Product images must not be overlaid with unauthorized promotional text (e.g., “50% OFF”).

3. Tone of Voice

SmithHönig communications should feel sophisticated, bold, colorful, and globally inspired.

Avoid bargain-focused or discount-heavy messaging that undermines our luxury positioning.

Focus on discovery, exclusivity, artistry, and storytelling when describing SmithHönig products.

4. Placement & Context

Our brand must not appear alongside content that is offensive, misleading, or in conflict with our values.

Affiliates may not create websites, social accounts, or domains that imitate or impersonate SmithHönig.

SmithHönig products should be presented in design-led, lifestyle-appropriate environments (home décor, interiors, art, travel, and luxury lifestyle).

5. Social Media & Influencer Promotion

When posting on social channels, use FTC-compliant disclosures (#ad, #affiliate).

Content should celebrate our products as unique, artistic, and statement-making pieces—not as commodities.

Use approved hashtags when provided (e.g., #SmithHonig, #BanTheBland, #LiveColorfully).
