SmithHönig Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
This Affiliate Terms of Agreement (“Agreement”) describes the rights and obligations of SmithHönig.com (“we,” “our,” or “SmithHönig”) and the approved affiliate partner (“you,” “Affiliate”). By joining our program through the Awin Network, you agree to abide by all terms stated herein.
1. Approval & Authority
SmithHönig reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve or reject any application to the program. We may reject or terminate participation if we determine that your site or promotional method is unsuitable for any reason, including but not limited to content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, misleading, or otherwise objectionable.
2. Use of Links & Creative
As an approved Affiliate, we will make available a variety of graphic and textual links (“Links”) for use on your owned and controlled websites, social platforms, or opt-in email newsletters.
You may display Links as often as you wish, subject to this Agreement.
Links must not be altered or misrepresented.
Affiliates may not create websites or domains that mimic, copy, or are confusingly similar to smithhonig.com or boholuxehome.com, including variations of our name, brand terms, or look-and-feel.
3. Paid Search & PPC Advertising
To preserve brand integrity and manage paid search costs:
No Brand Bidding: Affiliates may not bid on the terms “SmithHönig,” “SmithHonig,” “Boholuxe Home,” or any variations/misspellings.
No Direct Linking: PPC ads must not direct link to SmithHönig.com. All paid search traffic must first land on your own website or content.
Negative Keywords: If running campaigns, Affiliates must add “SmithHönig” and brand variations as negative keywords.
Generic Terms Only: Affiliates may bid on generic home décor terms (e.g., “luxury home décor,” “designer wallpaper”) provided ad copy is truthful and does not imply official brand representation.
4. Coupon & Deal Site Guidelines
SmithHönig is a premium brand and does not support unauthorized discounting.
Only authorized affiliates may promote SmithHönig coupons or codes.
Affiliates may not advertise or distribute expired, leaked, or non-authorized codes.
Affiliates may not use toolbars, browser extensions, or auto-apply coupon technology.
Any misleading claims such as “50% Off SmithHönig” without written authorization are strictly prohibited.
5. Email Marketing
Email campaigns must be sent only to opt-in subscribers you own.
Use of purchased or rented lists is prohibited.
All emails must clearly identify you as the sender and must not misrepresent SmithHönig as the originator.
Spam of any kind is not tolerated.
6. Social Media & Influencer Guidelines
Affiliates may promote via social media accounts they personally own.
FTC-compliant disclosures (e.g., “#ad,” “affiliate link”) must be used in all posts.
Affiliates may not create social accounts that impersonate or misrepresent SmithHönig.
Content should reflect the premium, colorful, globally inspired spirit of the brand. Affiliates are encouraged to showcase SmithHönig products in styled, design-led environments that align with our luxury positioning.
7. Brand Representation
Affiliates are expected to maintain a professional online presence.
No misleading claims or exaggerated offers.
No placement of SmithHönig alongside inappropriate, offensive, or controversial content.
Only approved logos, banners, and product images provided through Awin may be used.
8. Tracking & Commissions
Affiliate tracking cookies may only be set when a user clicks a Link from your owned content or email.
Commissions are paid on verified sales only, after orders are fulfilled and outside of the return period.
Commission rates, cookie windows, and bonus structures are set within Awin and subject to change with notice.
9. Termination
SmithHönig reserves the right to withhold commissions, reverse sales, or terminate Affiliates for any activity deemed fraudulent, misleading, harmful to the brand, or in violation of this Agreement.
10. Agreement
By applying and participating in the SmithHönig Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
