Once Upon a Tee – Affiliate Program TermsLast updated: January 2026
These Program Terms are designed to ensure fair attribution, protect the Once Upon a Tee brand, and create a positive experience for customers, partners, and independent artists.
By participating in the Once Upon a Tee affiliate program, publishers agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Brand Overview & Program Intent
Once Upon a Tee is a pop-culture apparel brand built around limited-time design drops, artist collaborations, and a highly engaged community.
Our affiliate program is intended for partners who introduce the brand to new audiences through original content, community engagement, and discovery-focused promotion.
We prioritize quality partnerships over volume.
2. Approved Promotion Methods
The following promotion methods are welcome and encouraged:
- Original content (blogs, reviews, editorial features)
- Social media promotion
- Video content
- Email newsletters sent to opted-in audiences
- Community-based platforms and fan pages
- Discovery-focused promotion that adds value for customers
Publishers must accurately disclose their primary promotion methods and traffic sources within their AWIN profile.
3. Prohibited Promotion Methods
To protect fair attribution and customer experience, the following methods are not permitted:
- Paid search or trademark bidding of any kind
- Trademark + keyword bidding or direct linking in paid ads
- Arbitrage or media-buying models
- Browser extensions, toolbars, or injected coupon functionality
- Cashback, loyalty, or interception-based promotion that captures existing traffic
- Techniques designed to overwrite, intercept, or replace attribution at or near checkout
Publishers engaging in these methods may have commissions adjusted, declined, or removed.
4. Attribution & Commission Review
Once Upon a Tee reserves the right to review all transactions to ensure commissions represent incremental value.
This includes (but is not limited to) reviewing:
- Time between click and transaction
- Use of voucher or discount codes
- Traffic source transparency
- Customer journey context
Transactions that do not reflect meaningful influence may be declined or adjusted under the classification “Not last referrer – commission attributed to another marketing source.”
5. Voucher & Discount Code Usage
- Only authorized voucher codes may be promoted
- Publishers may not promote private, email-only, app-only, or restricted codes unless explicitly approved
- Unauthorized or scraped codes may result in declined commissions
Once Upon a Tee reserves the right to determine which publishers may promote specific offers or vouchers.
6. Commission Adjustments & Program Changes
Once Upon a Tee may:
- Assign publisher-specific commission rates
- Adjust commission rates based on promotion method or performance
- Temporarily set commission rates to 0% during review
- Decline transactions that do not align with program intent
These actions are part of standard program management and are not considered punitive.
7. Transparency & Disclosure
Publishers must:
- Accurately represent their traffic sources
- Maintain up-to-date profile information
- Disclose affiliate relationships where required by law
Failure to provide transparent information may result in removal from the program.
8. Program Termination
Once Upon a Tee reserves the right to:
- Decline publisher applications
- Remove publishers from the program at any time
- Reverse commissions earned in violation of these terms
Termination decisions are made to protect the integrity of the program and brand.
