Logo

The logo is lowercase to be welcoming, rather than authoritative. It has rounded edges to show the softness and gentility of the products. The ends of some letters are rounded to
show the expansive knowledge that is possible of the story behind a product and the ripple effect that it has.

Graphic Element Wave

The main logo should be used on all surfaces that will photographed ie vinyls/ postcards/ social media adverts, as there is not enough brand recognition (yet) to use the mark
only. On social media the name will always be there on the account. Do not use it alone on posts.

General

  • To ensure accurate and consistent use, never alter, rotate, embellish or attempt to recreate Cottsbury brand assets. Leave enough space around Cottsbury brand assets for them to be clear and uncluttered.
  • Aspire to a good use of space (see example below), good margins, and padding around the logo and other icon assets.
  • Additionally, use assets at a legible size.
  • If using the mark on a page, it should always be left aligned to a margin. If there is no text (just a left-aligned heading) it should anchor to the top right or bottom left - depending on layout. It balances out the page and pulls the design to the margins to evoke space.
  • We should always refrain from stylising, warping, tilting, or modifying their colour or shape.
  • If you are unable to use the correct colour due to technical limitations, you may revert to black and white.
  • Don't use any icons or images to represent Cottsbury other than what is found in the brand assets folder.

Font

  • Garamond ITC - title
  • Inter - main body
