Reed Smythe – Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
This document sets out the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Reed Smythe & Company Affiliate Program. By applying, you agree to abide by these Terms.
Reed Smythe & Company administers its Affiliate Program exclusively through the AWIN affiliate platform. All links, creatives, transactions, and commission payments are managed within this platform. Affiliates must maintain an active AWIN account to participate.
1. Agreement
By applying to be a Reed Smythe Affiliate (“Affiliate”), you:
Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://reedsmythe.com/privacy).
Acknowledge these Terms and our Privacy Policy form a binding agreement upon acceptance.
Represent and warrant that you are legally able to enter into this Agreement.
Agree to ensure compliance by your employees, agents, and contractors.
2. Definitions
Reed Smythe & Company, we, us, our: Reed Smythe & Company and affiliated entities.
You, your: The Affiliate.
Our Website: reedsmythe.com and any Reed Smythe & Company online properties.
Your Website: Any site, page, or channel you control linking to our Website.
Program: The Reed Smythe & Company Affiliate Program.
Products: Goods sold or distributed by Reed Smythe & Company.
Qualifying Purchases: Purchases made when a customer clicks through your AWIN affiliate link, adds a product to their cart within 10 days, completes payment, and does not cancel, return, or dispute the order.
3. Program Details
Attribution Period (Cookie Length): 30 days
Auto Validation Period: 50 days
Mobile Optimised Tracking: No
App Tracking: No
ShopWindow: Products refreshed regularly
4. Commissions
Standard CPA begins at 5%.
Reed Smythe may increase commissions for select partners where added value is demonstrated.
All commissions are managed via AWIN and follow the platform’s terms.
5. Promotions & Sales
Reed Smythe does not issue or support unauthorized coupon codes.
From time to time, Reed Smythe may run sitewide or product-specific sales, clearly displayed on reedsmythe.com.
Affiliates may only promote these sales as presented publicly.
Altering or misrepresenting promotions may result in forfeited commissions or removal from the Program.
6. Website & Content Standards
Your affiliate properties may not:
Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Violate laws or regulations.
Contain defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or discriminatory content.
Promote gambling, illegal drugs, firearms, or unsafe activity.
Mislead customers by copying or mirroring Reed Smythe’s website or branding.
Feature content deemed aesthetically inappropriate by Reed Smythe.
7. Linking & Creative Use
Only use affiliate links provided via AWIN.
All domains using affiliate links must be listed in your affiliate profile.
Prohibited practices include framing, masked URLs, cookie stuffing, redirects, or manipulative techniques.
Creative assets may not be altered without Reed Smythe’s prior written approval.
8. Paid Search & PPC Restrictions
Affiliates may not bid on Reed Smythe trademarks, variations, or misspellings.
Affiliates may not use Reed Smythe terms in ad copy, keywords, or meta tags.
Direct linking to reedsmythe.com via paid search is prohibited.
Any PPC use of Reed Smythe’s brand requires written approval.
9. Social Media
Affiliates may promote Reed Smythe products on their own social channels.
Posting affiliate links on Reed Smythe’s official social media channels is prohibited.
Paid social advertising using Reed Smythe trademarks requires prior written approval.
10. Intellectual Property
All Reed Smythe trademarks, websites, and products remain our exclusive property.
Affiliates may not use Reed Smythe marks in domains, logos, or branding.
Reed Smythe may request changes to the use of its IP, and affiliates must comply.
11. Termination
Reed Smythe may terminate this Agreement at any time.
Upon termination, you must: Remove and cease using all Reed Smythe links, marks, and materials.
Upon termination, you must: Immediately stop promoting Reed Smythe products.
12. Confidentiality
Any confidential information shared with you must not be disclosed.
13. Transactions & Payment
Transactions remain pending until validated by AWIN.
Payments are issued in line with AWIN’s payment schedule after the validation period.
Commission reversals may occur for returns, cancellations, or violations of these Terms.
Any commission queries must be submitted within 45 days of the transaction date.
14. Compliance & Communication
Affiliates must disclose compensation in line with FTC Endorsement Guidelines (e.g., #ad, #sponsored).
Affiliates must respond promptly to Reed Smythe inquiries about traffic sources or promotional activity.
Non-cooperation may result in withheld commissions or removal from the Program.
