1.1. Affiliates may only use Medela’s brand name, logo, trademarks, and associated brand assets as explicitly approved by Medela UK.
1.2. Any modification, adaptation, or alteration of Medela’s brand assets without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
1.3. Affiliates must adhere to Medela’s official brand guidelines, including logo placement, colour usage, and font specifications.
2. Approved Marketing Materials
2.1. Affiliates may only use marketing materials provided or pre-approved by Medela UK.
2.2. Any creation of new promotional content featuring Medela’s brand must receive written approval from Medela UK before publication. 2.3. Affiliates are prohibited from using misleading, false, or exaggerated claims about Medela’s products or brand.
3. Domain and Social Media Restrictions
3.1. Affiliates may not register or use domain names, subdomains, or social media handles that include "Medela" or any similar variation that may mislead consumers.
3.2. Social media posts featuring Medela’s brand must clearly indicate the affiliate relationship where required by law or platform guidelines.
3.3. Affiliates must not use Medela’s brand in a way that implies official endorsement or partnership beyond the affiliate relationship.
4. Paid Advertising and SEO Restrictions
4.1. Affiliates may not bid on Medela-branded keywords, including but not limited to "Medela," "Medela UK," and product-specific names, in any paid search campaigns.
4.2. Medela’s brand name must not be used in meta tags, alt text, or hidden text intended to manipulate search engine rankings.
4.3. Affiliates must not engage in deceptive SEO tactics that could misrepresent their relationship with Medela UK.
5. Content and Representation
5.1. All content featuring Medela’s brand must align with the company’s brand values and messaging.
5.2. Affiliates must not associate Medela’s brand with controversial, offensive, or inappropriate content.
5.3. Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that all brand representations comply with UK advertising regulations and consumer protection laws.
6. Termination and Compliance
6.1. Medela UK reserves the right to revoke an affiliate’s permission to use brand assets at any time if they fail to comply with these terms. 6.2. Non-compliance may result in immediate termination from the affiliate programme and potential legal action if brand misuse causes reputational or financial harm to Medela UK. 6.3. Affiliates must remove all Medela-branded materials from their platforms within 7 days of termination or upon request.
7. Updates to Branding Terms
7.1. Medela UK reserves the right to update these branding terms at any time, with affiliates being notified of any changes.
7.2. Continued participation in the Medela UK Affiliate Network Programme constitutes acceptance of any updated branding terms.
