Any affiliates who do not abide by our Terms and Conditions, risk suspension from the program, having their commission set to zero or reduced in accordance with the level of breach.
General
Please do not display or sell advertising on any website that contravenes any law or regulation governing false or deceptive advertising. Affiliates should abide by advertising standards at all times.
VOCLA is a business that is only appropriate for those over 18 years of age. Therefore, affiliates should not associate or use the brand names and VOCLA business with content or websites that are focused on those under 18 years of age. Likewise, please be considerate with respect to different cultures, who may find some of our products to be a little risqué.
The content on the VOCLA website is copyright protected. Affiliates do not have permission to replicate the content on our website or to create content that is substantially similar, and would therefore fall foul of international copyright laws, without prior written consent. However, we can provide content and allow content that is substantially different. This is to protect both our and your search engine rankings.
Branding
The brand logo and words 'VOCLA', 'VA', 'VA CLUB' are all registered trademarks of VOCLA Limited.
VOCLA Limited should be referred to as VOCLA or VOCLA.com.
Our monthly subscription club should be referred to as 'VA Club' and described as a 'men's underwear subscription'. You may use our tagline for the subscription club, which is 'Underwear is a Basic Human Right'
Affiliates agree to present our brand(s) in the same manner as the brand(s) they present themself(s).
Affiliates will take reasonable care to use up-to-date images, ad copy, and offers in their marketing.
No affiliate should run a paid search campaign, comparison shopping service campaign, display campaign, social media advertising campaign, or PPC activity using the brand(s) terms, without our prior written consent. This includes permutations, misspellings, and broad matches containing brand terms.
No affiliate should build doorway pages around searches for our brand terms, mask URLs, place our website into frames, or include our brand(s) terms in a top-level domain.
Affiliates should not change our brand logos as they are trademarked. However, some flexibility is available in terms of brand colours. The standard logo colour is gold (hex #c89632) but black or white colours are also acceptable. A background colour of black or white is acceptable. We have both a VA and VOCLA logo that can be used.
Affiliates should not display any of our logos next to the logo or text or image links to competitors, marketplaces, or other websites. Our logos should only link to our website and text displayed next to our logos should refer to VOCLA or link to our website, not other websites.
Brand terms would include the words ‘VOCLA’, ‘VA’ and ‘VA CLUB’ and would include, but are not limited to the following examples:
- VOCLA
- VOCLA.com
- VOCLA.co.uk
- VA
- VA Club
- VA Club.com
- VOCLA Voucher Codes
- VOCLA Discount Codes
- VOCLA Discount Coupons
- VOCLA Coupons
Please do not use the word 'official' in any PPC advertisements, nor any wording that has a similar meaning.
Voucher Codes, Sales, and Offers
Affiliates should only promote voucher codes, sales, and offers communicated through the affiliate program. Commission will not be paid if a customer uses any discount code not advertised on AWIN.
We reserve the right to withhold or reduce payment of commission if unauthorized voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorized codes may have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date, this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date. Otherwise, this does not provide a good shopping experience for the customer. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the program.
Cashback Sites
Commission will not be paid if a customer uses a discount code. Customers cannot have both a discount code and earn cashback.
Social
If you promote our products on your social platforms, you are agreeing that we may repurpose your content in our marketing channels. If we do so, we will endeavour to tag your social handle to credit the image as yours.
E-mail Marketing
No spamming is allowed.
Affiliates should ensure that e-mail marketing complies with GDPR regulations.
VA CLUB Underwear Subscription
Commission will not be paid, where the subscription is cancelled or paused within a month.
Domain Referrals
Commission will only be paid on referrals to the VOCLA domain (vocla.com). For example, commission will not be paid on sales on our eBay store.
Product Feeds
Our product feeds are available in different currencies and for different countries. The delivery rates, currencies, delivery timescales, and prices are tailored to the specific country and currency.
Custom labels on feeds are as follows:
- Custom1 = bestselling products
- Custom2 = sale price
- Custom3 = adult
- Custom4 = is bundle
- Custom5 = is multipack
- Custom6 = size_type
- Custom7 = language
