All discount/voucher code use needs to comply with the official IAB guidelines, which can be found here: http://www.iabuk.net/en/1/iabsaffiliatemarketingcouncillaunchescodeofbestpractice110808.mxs
Any affiliates who do not adhere to the following guidelines will be removed from the affiliate programme and commissions will be cancelled:
•Using “click to reveal” when there is no valid or current code present is not permitted of affiliated publishers including using “click to reveal” to show any deals/offers/sales instead of vouchers
•Voucher code affiliate publishers must clearly detail the voucher offer that will be revealed by the click
•A valid code is defined as a code that has been legitimately issued by a merchant for use online. This code will have an activation date and where necessary a deactivation date
•Voucher code directories must contain clear categorization and separation between deals/offers/sales and discount codes
In addition to the IAB’s code, Brora set the following rules for the use of voucher/discount codes:
Any discount/voucher codes promoted must be provided through the Brora affiliate programme.
Affiliates are not allowed to display made up / invented discount/voucher codes on their site(s) or display discount/voucher codes that were intended for use in other channels or for other online affiliates.
Affiliates found to be using unauthorised voucher codes face immediate suspension from the programme. We reserve the right to withhold payment if non-authorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale.
Canceled Orders and commission validations
Any cancelled orders will result in non-payment of commission.
If you have any queries regarding the status of a commission, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The commission is not payable for licensed products, gift vouchers/cards, design services and does not include delivery charges.
Email marketing must be submitted to your account manager for sign off.
Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Affiliate Window interface. In order to prevent out of date content, affiliates may not hardcode the creative into their sites. If your site requires that banners are hardcoded, please contact the account management team to obtain permission before putting this in place.
Anyone found infringing on these terms will receive a warning and may have commissions reversed. We reserve the right to withhold commission during this time. Continuous infringement of these terms will result in suspension. For the avoidance of doubt, we reserve our right to terminate any affiliates by 7 days prior written notice.
