Search Engine and Paid Search Activities.
The following rules relate to activity through paid sponsored listings for all search engines and are relevant for all terms listed in the Advertiser Brand Terms box below:
The following activities are not allowed on the programme:
- bidding on exact match brand terms
- bidding on misspelling of brand terms
- bidding on variations of the brand terms
- direct linking
- broad matching on brand terms
Publishers must not display the advertiser’s brand name in the Display URL or Title & Ad Copy
Advertiser Brand Terms
The Search Guidelines / Restrictions are based on but not limited to the following:
- Drakes
- Drake’s
- [Above brand terms] clothing
- [Above brand terms] menswear
- [Above brand terms] suits
- [Above brand terms] accessories
- [Above brand terms] voucher code
- [Above brand terms] voucher
- [Above brand terms] promo code
- [Above brand terms] discount
- [Above brand terms] discount code
- [Above brand terms] outlet
- [Above brand terms] sale
and any different combinations and capitalisations.
Brand Guidelines
All assets provided by Drake’s cannot be modified.
Social Media Content
In accordance with the ASA, if publishers wish to use affiliate tracking links within social channels and Instagram stories, #ad must be included as an identifier of content that has a commercial agreement attached to it.
Voucher Codes
Drake's generally do not offer voucher codes or discounts. Where available. affiliates may only promote codes that are provided through the Drake’s affiliate programme (either by AWIN or Drake’s).
Drake’s reserves the right to withhold payment of commission if affiliates promote an unauthorised voucher code. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed.
Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme.
Display URLs
Affiliates are not permitted to use the word ‘Drake’s’ in display URLs in any text ad, for example: ‘www.drakes.com’, ‘drakes.com’.
Affiliates are not permitted to use misspellings or upper/lower case variants of the above.
