General Terms & Conditions
Praia operates a performance-based affiliate program designed to reward partners who drive high-quality traffic and new customer acquisition through content, social media, and editorial promotion.
By joining the Praia affiliate program, partners agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all promotional guidelines outlined within the AWIN platform.
Program Overview
The Praia affiliate program is intended for partners who can meaningfully contribute to brand awareness and sales through trusted recommendations, editorial content, and social influence.
Approved partner types include Social Creators & Influencers, Media & Editorial Publishers, and other content-driven partners subject to approval.
Notice Period
Please note – this program operates with a 30-day closure notice period. Refer to your contractual terms and conditions for further information regarding termination or program closure, or contact Praia support for clarification.
Commission Structure
Commission is paid on net sale value (excluding VAT, shipping, returns, and cancellations).
- Social Creators & Influencers: 30% commission (introductory test rate for 60 days)
- Media & Editorial Publishers: 15% commission (ongoing standard rate)
Praia reserves the right to extend, modify, or replace the Social Creator commission rate following the conclusion of the 60-day test period, based on performance and commercial evaluation.
Commission is awarded on a last-click basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Assisted or multi-touch attribution may be considered for strategic partners at Praia’s discretion.
Partner Benefits
Approved partners may receive access to a welcome pack, including product imagery, brand guidelines, promotional assets, and campaign materials.
Praia may also offer time-limited increased commission rates, exclusive campaigns, or performance incentives for selected partners during onboarding or promotional periods.
Promotional Guidelines
Partners must promote Praia in a manner consistent with brand guidelines and may only use approved affiliate links, creatives, and materials.
Allowed promotional methods include:
- Editorial content (reviews, guides, and feature articles)
- Social media content (organic influencer promotion)
- Newsletter placements (editorial-controlled content only)
Restricted Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited without prior written approval:
- Unauthorized use or distribution of discount or voucher codes
- Listing Praia on coupon or voucher aggregation websites
- Paid search advertising on PRaia branded keywords or misspellings
- Misleading promotions, false discount claims, or brand misrepresentation
- Promotion on websites containing illegal, adult, or harmful content
Voucher Code Policy
Only officially issued and approved promotional codes may be used in affiliate marketing activities.
Praia reserves the right to modify, disable, or withdraw any promotional code at any time. Codes must not be shared on unauthorized coupon or voucher platforms.
Validation of Transactions
Transactions are validated after the return period (Returns must be submitted within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for a refund to your original payment method) has expired and once orders are confirmed as completed, delivered, and not refunded or cancelled.
Praia reserves the right to decline or reverse commissions for:
- Returned or cancelled orders
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Use of unauthorized promotional methods or codes
- Self-referrals or partner abuse
Cookie Period
Praia operates a 30-day cookie period unless otherwise stated in the AWIN platform or contractual agreement.
Branding Guidelines
Partners must use the correct brand name “Praia” (capital P only) and must not alter or misrepresent brand assets.
Praia does not permit promotion on websites or placements containing illegal, adult, or harmful content.
PPC Policy
Praia does not allow partners to bid on branded or misspelled keywords, including “Praia”, “Praia chair”, or similar variations, on any search engine or paid media platform.
De-duplication & Attribution
Praia may de-duplicate sales against other marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, and owned email marketing, to ensure accurate attribution and fair commission distribution.
Compliance & Consequences
Praia reserves the right to reverse commissions, suspend, or terminate partnerships in cases of non-compliance with program terms, including but not limited to:
- Misuse of promotional codes
- Fraudulent activity
- Brand bidding violations
- Policy breaches or misleading advertising
