Real Mad Honey Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Real Mad Honey Affiliate Program (“Program”). These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the Program operated via Awin and represent a binding agreement between you (“Affiliate”) and Real Mad Honey (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not participate in the Program.
1. Participation Requirements
Affiliates must maintain an active, reputable website, social media account, or other online platform.
Affiliates must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in their jurisdiction.
Affiliates may not misrepresent Real Mad Honey products or make misleading claims.
Affiliates may not engage in spam, unsolicited email marketing, or other forms of deceptive practices.
2. Promotion Guidelines
Affiliates are permitted to promote Real Mad Honey through approved channels, including blogs, websites, social media accounts, email lists, and video content.
All promotional content must comply with applicable advertising laws, including but not limited to the FTC guidelines for endorsements.
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship where applicable.
3. Content Usage Rights
By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees that any and all content created for the purpose of promoting Real Mad Honey — including but not limited to photos, videos, social media posts, testimonials, reviews, and other creative materials — may be freely used, shared, and repurposed by Real Mad Honey for promotional purposes across all channels, including but not limited to:
Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
Paid advertisements
Website content
Email marketing
Print or digital media
Affiliate grants Real Mad Honey a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, edit, adapt, and display such content without the need for additional permissions or compensation.
4. Commissions & Payments
Commission rates, tracking methods, and payout schedules are as specified within the Awin platform.
Real Mad Honey reserves the right to adjust commission structures at any time with prior notice.
5. Prohibited Activities
Use of misleading or unapproved claims regarding product benefits.
Bidding on brand keywords or misspellings in paid search advertising.
Use of false or fraudulent methods to generate sales or leads.
Promotion on websites or channels containing offensive, violent, or discriminatory content.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time with written notice.
Upon termination, Affiliate must remove all Real Mad Honey content, links, and references from their platforms.
7. Limitation of Liability
Real Mad Honey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.
8. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Prohibited Promotional Methods & Commission Exclusions
We are committed to working only with affiliates who actively and authentically promote our brand through high-quality, value-adding content. To protect our brand integrity and ensure fair attribution, the following promotional methods and affiliate types are strictly prohibited within our program:
We reserve the right to deny commission payments for any transactions originating from the following sources or practices, regardless of whether they are technically tracked or recorded as sales:
Soft Click Publishers
Affiliates using cookieless tracking, server-to-server attribution, email-based user tracking, or similar methods that attempt to claim commission without direct user engagement or visible promotion.
Coupon Scraping & Browser Extensions
Affiliates who collect, inject, or auto-apply coupon codes via browser tools, plugins, or extensions (e.g., Honey, Coupert, Pouch, Capital One Shopping, DealFinder, Karma) without active promotion or user intent.
Toolbar & Plugin Injection
Affiliates using browser-based software to hijack user sessions or overwrite other traffic sources by automatically inserting tracking codes.
Cashback, Loyalty & Incentivized Traffic
Sites offering cashback, points, or other rewards for purchases unless explicitly approved in writing.
Unauthorized Brand Bidding
Affiliates bidding on our brand name, trademarks, or trademark+ keywords (e.g., "[Brand] coupon", "[Brand] korting") in paid search engines without prior approval.
Fake or Unapproved Coupon Aggregators
Affiliates publishing outdated, fake, or unauthorized codes, or re-uploading publicly listed or exclusive discount codes without permission.
Content Farms & Low-Quality SEO Sites
Websites relying on scraped, auto-generated, or AI-created content that offers no unique value or context related to our brand or products.
Affiliates found engaging in any of the above methods will:
Be immediately removed from the program,
Forfeit all pending and future commissions related to such activities,
Be blacklisted from reapplying unless explicitly authorized.
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time, and we encourage all affiliates to maintain transparent and high-quality promotion standards. If you are unsure whether your promotional method is permitted, please contact us prior to promoting.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be submitted to the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
