The Gift of Scent Affiliate Program – Terms & Conditions
Home of Belle Aroma® and Drive Time™
Welcome to the official affiliate program for The Gift of Scent, featuring our bestselling brands Belle Aroma® and Drive Time®. By applying to and participating in this program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, created to ensure transparency, compliance, and mutual success for all partners.
General Terms
We are committed to fostering a collaborative, rewarding affiliate experience built on authenticity, design excellence, and ethical marketing.
Upon approval to the program, affiliates receive:
- A full Affiliate Welcome Pack
- Access to curated creative assets (banners, product visuals, seasonal campaigns)
- Eligibility for tiered commission incentives based on performance
- Early access to seasonal product drops and limited-edition promotions
Brand Guidelines
All affiliates must:
- Accurately represent The Gift of Scent brand and products
- Use only approved logos, images, and assets provided via AWIN or by direct request
- Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in compliance with FTC and AWIN policies
- View full brand guidance in the "Branding" section of the Program Terms tab on our AWIN profile.
Commission Structure
Base Rate: 10% commission on eligible, validated net sales
Performance Incentives:
Custom rates available based on:
- Monthly sales volume
- Strategic placements (email, homepage, curated guides)
- Promotion of bundles, seasonal launches, or exclusive collections
Commission Exclusions:
- Canceled, returned, refunded, or duplicate orders
- Self-referrals or orders from the affiliate’s own household
- Clearance, discounted, or customized items
Payout Terms:
- Commissions are paid by AWIN per their standard schedule
- Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate payment and tax information in their AWIN account
- The Gift of Scent is not liable for delays due to incomplete affiliate profiles
Validation Process
- Orders are validated 30 days after successful transaction
- Orders returned or refunded within that window are ineligible for commission
- Fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant activity will result in commission reversal
Breach Policy
To protect our brand, we reserve the right to withhold payment, reverse commissions, and/or suspend or remove affiliates who violate these Terms or platform policies.
Prohibited actions include (but are not limited to):
- Misuse of voucher or promotional codes
- Misleading or deceptive marketing claims
- Unauthorized use of logos, images, or proprietary content
- Trademark bidding or use of restricted keywords
- Cookie stuffing, forced redirects, or other unethical tracking methods
- Promotion adjacent to:
- Adult content or explicit material
- Politically charged or offensive content
- False countdowns, fake urgency, or non-existent discounts
Violations may result in:
- Immediate reversal of all commissions
- Permanent removal from the program
- Blacklisting from future brand campaigns
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate any affiliate partnership at our discretion for reasons including but not limited to:
- Inactivity over a 6-month period
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Misrepresentation or misleading advertising practices
Upon termination, all links, codes, and creative assets must be removed from the publisher’s site and channels immediately.
Promotional Code Policy
- Only codes issued via the AWIN “My Offers” section or official communication from our team are commissionable
- Use of unauthorized, public, or expired codes may result in non-payment or removal
- Affiliates may request exclusive or co-branded codes for approved campaigns
Cookie Policy
- Our program offers a 30-day cookie window
- You’ll receive credit for purchases completed within 30 days of a user’s first click from your tracking link

We welcome publishers across lifestyle, health & beauty, fragrance, wellness, gifts & flowers, home & garden, parenting, and automotive categories.
Please promote The Gift of Scent in alignment with our values:

Limitation of Liability
The Gift of Scent is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, including lost earnings, due to participation in this program. Our total liability is limited to the amount of commission earned and paid through the AWIN platform.
Agreement
By applying to and participating in The Gift of Scent Affiliate Program, you agree to these terms and those outlined by the AWIN affiliate network.
We may update these terms periodically. You will be notified of material changes via AWIN or email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.
