Boram is the first US postnatal retreat, located in the Langham NY. Boram provides 24/7 education, and care to new mothers as they transition from the hospital to home with their new family.
Our Mission:
The research is clear: dedicated postnatal care improves the health and well -being of mothers and their babies. Our model of care focuses on recovery support and is built on evidence -based practices and modern research. By focusing on the needs of the mother in the postnatal stage, we are helping her to prioritize her own health, now and in the future.
Product:
Stays start at $1400 a night with a minimum of a 3 night stay. We recommend that mothers come straight from the hospital so that they can get all the education and support they need in order to quickly gain confidence and start this new chapter well supported by our team of experts.
Offerings:
24/7 Education and Care: Our care team consists of postpartum doulas, specialized newborn & maternal nursing assistants, and newborn care specialists. We offer one on one coaching and cover a variety of topics including breastfeeding and latching support, techniques to soothe your baby, baby-wearing, meal preparation and education on nutrition after birth, screening for postpartum mood disorders.
24/7 Baby Room: Let our team of experts care for your baby while you get the rest essential for recovery
Workshops: Parenting workshops led by experts in the parenting space, ranging from newborn safety & CPR to lactation, to healthy sleep habits and more. Can be taken before or during your stay.
Nutritious Meals: Your stay includes three meals a day for mom from a full menu of delicious, nourishing foods designed by a certified nutritionist and prepared by an award-winning chef.
