About us
We have been supplying pewter and glass tankards with personalised engraving online for over 12 years. Almost all our pewter tankards are hand made in the UK using traditional methods and tools. Our main market is the UK, but we export 20% overseas, mostly to the US. Our average conversion rate is a healthy 5% and at peak season such as Black Friday we regularly convert at 8-12%. Our average order value is $80. We have 1000's of 5 star customer reviews. If you recommend us or send us traffic we will look after them very well for you!
Who buys from us - your opportunity
80% of all our orders include personalised engraving. Landmark birthdays, anniversaries, retirements and the key moments that people mark in life make up most of our orders. Weddings are particularly important as the average order value is considerably higher and an area of great opportunity. We also supply engraved tankards for clubs and organisations such as golf clubs, swimming clubs, running clubs, football and rugby clubs. Around 20% of our customers are repeat customers. We have clubs that come back year after year for their annual trophies and companies that us for all of there long service awards.
We have many military customers and have a large collection of military crests ready to engrave. Our customers include The US Navy, The Royal Navy, The RAF, many units of the British Army including Special Forces and the military academies of both Sandhurst and Dartmouth. We have provided tankards to the Royal Navy's newest aircraft carriers HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH and HMS Prince of Wales. We also have had one of our tankards presented to the actual Prince of Wales! Oh and beer lovers!
