Our Story:
Since our founding in 2007, Rogue Industries has been a family project. Our founder, Michael Lyons, was unhappy with his bulky back pocket wallet, which he was convinced was causing his lower back pain.
Michael began learning about leather and design. He obtained two patents on a front pocket wallet design that was shaped to fit the cut of your front pants pocket. And that's how the Rogue Industries was born — and before we knew it, we had a small business.

Growth:
Rogue Industries started in 2007 with just one patented wallet design and full grain cowhide leather. Since then we have expanded into many different leather offerings such as: bison, moose, salmon, baseball, football, and alligator leathers. Many wallets are made right here in Maine, and we also have a line of imported wallets for the price sensitive customers.
Our product offerings have expanded to small leather goods (keychains, coasters, minimalist wallets, etc); wax canvas lines of duffle bags & totes; and a women’s line of clutches and leather totes.
