Our Story
Elle AyoubZadeh began her career in women’s fashion, designing shoes for globally-renowned artists and celebrities. She developed her aesthetic intuitively, working directly with artisans to create designs that were refined but bold.
In 2023 her designer’s eye fixated on men’s footwear and its lack of precision: shoes were clunky and overbuilt, overshadowing the man.
Her first men’s shoe, and the genesis of the brand, was inspired by the dress boot. She transformed its clean, precise shape into the Ray sneaker, a sleek, understated high-top in perfect harmony with the man.
Zvelle’s brand ethos comes from AyoubZadeh’s lifelong fascination with flight. To take flight requires power, freedom and removing every detail that is unnecessary.
