Inspired by the rich, multicultural world of fabric and materials during her tenure as a textile designer for Proenza Schouler and Calvin Klein, Sapir Bachar founded her eponymous line in New York City in 2019, drawing from a variety of traditions and techniques.
Her collection seamlessly merges ancient motifs with contemporary minimalism, reimagining and abstracting artifacts from different influences and eras to bridge the gap between the familiar and the new.
Crafted primarily from solid sterling silver—spanning the breadth of history from ancient to contemporary—the collection also features 24K gold-plated sterling silver, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and leather.
