HOW IT BEGAN
Alicia (Delúvia’s co-founder) suffered with Psoriasis all her life and was searching for relief. This sparked the discovery of the power of the Dead Sea. She traveled to Israel and experienced, first-hand its amazing minerals and in 2005, the concept of Deluvia was born. The Delúvia skin care line focuses on premium ingredients such as organic Aloe Vera, botanicals, plant extracts and Dead Sea minerals to create quality products that we know you'll love.
WHAT ABOUT THAT NAME?
The name Delúvia (pronounced “Deh-loo-vee-uh”) comes from the geology term “Diluvium” which are deposits formed by flooding waters, which seemed a fitting name for a product derived from pure, Dead Sea minerals.

Alicia saw a need for a cosmetics line that would be safe for her sensitive skin. So Alicia developed the Demúre Mineral cosmetics line that provides excellent coverage while feeling light and gentle, allowing skin to breathe. The line was called ‘Demure’ from the original word - meaning an unassuming, natural makeup.
