Welcome to Bee Inspired®, led by founder Kara Brook Brown. Bee Inspired specializes in honey-based products for the home, body, and pantry, offering a thoughtfully curated collection of artisanal honey gifts from Farm to Body® that harness the power of natural ingredients made possible by the honeybee.
A women-owned business, Kara creates her artistic and natural products from her expanded hives and her farm’s bounty. She is an artist who specializes in a painting technique known as encaustic, a method that uses paint made from beeswax, tree resin, and pigment. Inspired by the natural materials utilized in this technique including her fascination with beeswax and the idea of a sustainable art form, it was a natural transition into the world of beekeeping for Kara and she decided to become a beekeeper.
However, she quickly realized that raising bees had a much greater impact on the planet and shifted her focus toward creating a haven for honeybees. With 102 acres of land facing the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, Kara created an oasis for these essential insects. She combined this personal connection to the bees - her purposeful, community-minded companions - and her entrepreneurial spirit to create Bee Inspired.
With a mission to offer irresistible products and cherished gifts that inspire goodwill, promote sustainable living, and create lifelong memories, Bee Inspired is designed to make a lasting impact through active community involvement, ongoing innovation, and unwavering dedication to fostering a harmonious connection between nature and human well-being.
