Year of Ours was created in 2016 after co-founder Eleanor Haycock was unable to find workout clothes that fit properly and were flattering for her body type. She found that most activewear didn’t mold to her body, but rather demanded that her body conform to the sizing of the standard activewear. As someone that was active and played sports her entire life, she wanted activewear that not only performed the best, but made her feel her best.
She co-founded the brand along with longtime colleague Lily Shin and enlisted celebrity stylist and designer Alejandra Hernandez with the intention to create high-quality athleticwear to flatter and empower—regardless of body type.
Today, Year of Ours continues to develop extended sizing, cuts and fabrics to flatter everyone, with styles currently ranging from XS - 2X.
