Thirty years is a lot of time spent testing gear and the two would often find themselves modifying what kit they were issued to better suit the task.
Relentlessly critiquing outerwear, apparel and accessories from other well-known outdoor brands led both men to conclude that they could do better - so ThruDark was born in 2017.
