Q: Who is the target audience? A: Predominantly trade decorators or work in similar industries (eg construction, maintenance, DIY) who are typically self-employed or work in small businesses. From time to time we do serve a large amount of casual/cash customers who are attracted by our products and services during our 'cash' sales. Please bear this in mind when applying to this programme as you may find our Dulux retail programme (12009) is more suited.
Q: Can I join the programme if my website targets visitors outside of Great Britain? A: As we only serve / deliver to customers residing in England, Scotland and Wales, we cannot accept applications from international websites.
Q: Can I undertake paid search activity? A: No, affiliates are not allowed to use paid search advertising to drive traffic to the Dulux Decorator Centre website. Affiliates found bidding on keywords will have associated commission claims rejected.
Q: Can I promote the Dulux Decorator Centre in emails? A: Yes. Q: Sometimes my commission claims are rejected. Why is this? A: Please refer to our programme Terms & Conditions in the first instance. In summary, the main reasons for commissions being declined are: - an incorrect or missing order number (so we can't trace & verify a transaction) - valid order references begin 'Order_SO~'. - the quoted transaction reference relates to the payment of an account invoice ('SI~'), not a new order. - a marketing spend e.g Paid Search, Banner Advertising, Partner Commission or ad payment in another channel - has already been attributed to a transaction (for clarity and transparency we attribute on a last click basis); - a claim being made against the wrong Dulux programme (Trade - 16263 / Retail - 12009).
