Flightright – The No. 1 in Air Passenger Rights

Who We Are

Flightright has been standing up for air passenger rights since 2010. When a flight is delayed, cancelled, or a connection is missed, we help travellers claim compensation of up to £520 (minus success fee) from the airline.

Our free initial check shows within minutes whether a claim is valid. If it is, we handle the entire legal process – from contacting the airline to taking the case to court if necessary. A fee is only charged in case of success. Otherwise, our service is completely free for customers.

We have already enforced more than €700 million in compensation for our clients and achieve a 99% success rate in court. Our success fee typically ranges between 20%–30% plus VAT, and in court cases an additional legal surcharge of 14% may apply.

With more than a decade of experience, a specialised legal team, and advanced technology, Flightright is the market leader in air passenger rights – and a reliable partner for publishers who want to promote high-quality and trustworthy services.

“£220 – £520 compensation per person minus success fee (typically 20–30% plus VAT).”

or with an asterisk:

“Claim up to £520 with Flightright*”

Under EU Regulation 261/2004, passengers are entitled to compensation of £220 / £350 / £520 depending on the flight distance. Our success fee of usually 20–30% (plus VAT) is deducted from these amounts, and in court cases an additional legal surcharge of 14% may apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

In which countries is Flightright active?

Our affiliate programme is currently active in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
Advertiser ID for FR: 13334
Advertiser ID for DE: 15034

Which flight issues does Flightright handle?

We support passengers facing delays, cancellations, or overbookings.

What compensation amounts apply?

Compensation is determined solely by flight distance, not ticket price:
• Short-haul (up to 1,500 km): £220
• Medium-haul (up to 3,500 km): £350
• Long-haul (over 3,500 km): £520

Do these rights apply in case of strikes?

If air traffic control, airport staff, or airline employees go on strike, passengers retain extensive rights. These include rerouting, refreshments, accommodation if necessary, and – in case of delays over 5 hours – the right to a ticket refund.
If the airline’s own staff is striking, passengers may be entitled to compensation.

What are extraordinary circumstances?

Airlines are exempt from paying compensation if the cause of the disruption is outside their control. Examples include air traffic control strikes, airport staff strikes, severe weather, airspace closures, border closures, or natural disasters.
Even in such cases, airlines must provide care in accordance with EU law.

How long can claims be submitted?

In the UK, claims can generally be made for several years depending on local limitation rules. In Germany, for example, claims can be asserted up to three years after the problem flight, calculated to the end of the calendar year.

We look forward to a successful collaboration!
