Casalta is the New York–based design studio of Catherine and Nathan Bruckner, founded in 2024. With the Objects collection in 2026, the studio expands its remit from interiors to homewares, offering refined accessories that extend its quiet elegance to the everyday.
Composed of 14 pieces, the collection draws on historical materials and techniques, with an emphasis on timeless objects poised to layer into ever-evolving spaces. Every piece originates from a specific material, historical form, unique workshop capability, or a practical need within the studio's interior projects. Partnering with specialized workshops committed to rigorous quality, Casalta focuses on execution and depth beyond standard industrial methods.
Lacquerware is a key pillar of the debut. Trays and boxes are handcrafted using centuries-old techniques, designed around the rituals of daily life. Glassware is another focus, including smoke-tinted crystal blown through a two-part process developed with a workshop in Italy.
