The Landmark Trust offers refreshing breaks across Britain and Italy. In Landmark’s care are 200 remarkable places dating from 1250 to 1972, including castles and cottages, forts and follies, and towers and railway stations. Each one has been rescued, researched and restored for everyone to enjoy, starting from £25 per person per night.
Landmark properties, which sleep up to 16 people, make special places for friend and family gatherings, whether exploring the history and landscape, rambling to the pub or playing games by the fire. They offer romantic settings for couples and relaxing boltholes for solo travellers. Many are off-grid but plenty are in cities and towns or accessible by train and most welcome dogs.
