Founded in 2012 by Sonia Hully, NAILBERRY began as a luxury nail bar in Chelsea, London. After noticing the drying and damaging effects of repeated gel manicures and environmental stressors on her clients’ nails, Sonia set out to create a healthier alternative without compromising on performance or colour. The result was L’OXYGÉNÉ — our now multi-award-winning range of breathable nail polishes.
Pioneering a new generation of nail colour, L’OXYGÉNÉ harnesses patented oxygenating technology to deliver vibrant, long-lasting colour while supporting nail health. Alongside our polish collections, we developed a range of targeted treatments designed to repair, protect, and strengthen damaged nails.
Our mission to create a healthier manicure continues to evolve. In 2025, we launched BIO-SOURCED — an innovative 75% plant-based evolution of L’OXYGÉNÉ, offering even longer-lasting wear with formulas that are better for nails and better for nature. Our advanced formula replaces conventional plasticisers with naturally derived extracts from sugarcane, corn, and cotton. The result is a smoother application, faster drying time, and a high-performance formula that is free from 21 harmful toxins — delivering a healthier manicure experience without compromising on colour or longevity.
