APPENDIX – COMMISSION RATES
Jumbo Car Costa Rica Affiliate Program
This appendix defines the commission levels applicable to Affiliates of the Jumbo Car Costa Rica Affiliate Program.
Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the net amount (excluding taxes) actually collected from an online purchase that results in a completed rental with full invoicing.
Cancelled reservations do not generate commissions. Options, insurance, and ancillary fees are excluded.
Only rentals completed using a dedicated partner code (included in the tracking URL or entered directly on the Jumbo Car Costa Rica website) are eligible for commission.
1. Standard Commission – 6%
Eligible Affiliates
Applies by default to all newly approved Affiliates, including:
cashback, content, email, loyalty, search, retargeting, media brokers, editorial websites, blogs, online media, travel platforms, and partners with no volume commitment.
Rate
6% of the net rental amount per validated online purchase and completed rental.
Conditions
No minimum volume required
Tracking via affiliate code
2. Premium Commission – 6%
Eligible Affiliates
Reserved for high value-added Affiliates generating qualified traffic.
Rate
6% of the net amount, depending on:
sales volume,
traffic quality,
conversion rate.
Access Conditions
Subject to:
prior approval by Jumbo Car Costa Rica,
a written agreement specifying the rate,
full compliance with the Program Terms and Conditions.
Premium status may be revised or withdrawn in case of underperformance or non-compliance.
3. Influencer Commission – 10%
Eligible Affiliates
Content creators, social media influencers (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), and Jumbo Car Costa Rica brand ambassadors.
Rate
10% of the net amount, based on:
audience size and engagement,
content format,
duration and scope of the partnership.
Terms
Attribution via unique partner code and/or tracked link
One-off campaigns or long-term partnerships
4. Common Rules
Commissions are recorded on the purchase date and validated after checks for cancellations, refunds, or disputes.
The following are excluded from commissions: insurance, optional add-ons, ancillary fees, and penalties.
Jumbo Car Costa Rica reserves the right to modify commission rates or levels, subject to prior notice.
5. Reporting
Affiliates have access to performance data, including clicks, online purchases, generated commissions, and validated payments.
