Whenever Stuart was asked to start a new fashion brand, he replied 'the world doesn't need another clothing company'. And then he thought.. what about a clothing company that doesn't produce any clothes? There are already far too many clothes in the world and yet each year another 100 billion iterms are produced. There are millions of tonnes of wasted clothes being put into landfill or burnt. And every time we make a new garment, the planet pays for it. It is a critical moment for our collective future, but given we can’t turn back the clocks, now is the time to act.
At Stuart Trevor want to actively reduce the number of new clothes made, significantly reducing the environmental impact. We do this by:
• Keeping clothes in circulation by sourcing ‘dead stock’ clothing and fabrics, reworking and reimagining them into new items, for a new life.
• Choosing the most sustainable methods for our essential lines, like t shirts and sweatshirts.
We offfer a range of mens and women's clothing and streetwear, including unique vintage pieces, many are collectables that Stuart has sourced from around the world and and reworked, patched, printed or embroidered.
