Alice founded luxury adjustable womenswear brand The Female Archetypes based on her personal experience of navigating the many changes to her body through two pregnancies and postpartum periods. As many women do, she felt like nothing in my wardrobe fit and found that friends who were mothers felt the same. We don't want to buy clothes in endless different sizes - that just end up in landfill. We also have friends with women’s health conditions and those going through the menopause who needed garments that worked for their bodies, rather than trying to adjust their body to fit into what was available.
Each piece is designed to adapt with the wearer, made in London with high-quality materials and thoughtful construction. The range spans sizes 8-18 through panels, hidden zips and poppers. The brand is designed to support women through every stage of life; whether that be the women's health challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, (peri)menopause and older age.
