What is THCA?
THCA is the precursor cannabinoid of THC, and only becomes psychoactive when heated. In other words, THCA becomes THC when smoked, vaped, or cooked. It is federally legal as long as the THC levels in its raw form (not heated) don’t exceed 0.3%.
Most people use it recreationally but there is growing research about its potential therapeutic benefits in its raw form.
