The Skin Diary is a British skin-ageing brand founded in 2023 by four of the UK's most senior consultant dermatologists.
The founding team brings together Prof. Chris Griffiths OBE (Chief Scientist, emeritus professor at the University of Manchester, editor-in-chief of Rook's Textbook of Dermatology, the world's third most-cited dermatologist), Dr. Tamara Griffiths (Head of Product Innovation, current president of the British Association of Dermatologists), Dr. Clare Kiely (Chief Medical Officer, consultant dermatologist and Mohs surgeon), and Dr. Richard Barlow (Chair of Advisory Board, St John's Institute of Dermatology). Combined: 125 years of clinical experience and 900+ peer-reviewed publications.
Our formulas are validated through The Skin Diary's propriety Cell-to-Surface™ testing standard, a three-tier evidence architecture that tests products at the cellular level (independent biomarker assays in human skin biopsies and 3D models), on the clinical surface (randomised, accredited trials at ISO-certified labs), and in the mirror (independent consumer panels). The chain of evidence runs from biological cause to clinical effect to consumer perception, without gaps.
Multi-award winning: Tatler Beauty Awards 2025, Get the Gloss Beauty Awards 2025, Social & Personal Beauty Buys 2025. Sold direct-to-consumer at skin-diary.com (UK & Ireland).
Hero range: Night Repair Therapy (£135), Age Defence (£92), and The AM/PM Duo (£227). Average order ~£120.
The brand operates a strict no-discount policy, no voucher codes, no site-wide promotions, making it a clean editorial inventory with no voucher-site competition.
