WHY WE STARTED
What started as a casual trip to the Mall turned into a mission of creating high-quality jewelry and accessories for affordable prices.
Our story began in 2012 when we decided to shop for the holiday season and ended up at a high-end boutique. The decision to enter was to browse casually, but we ended up seeing a great piece of jewelry for an awesome deal that was too good to pass up. Of course, the belief was that if this high-end store was selling this piece, then it must be of good quality. But the chain lost color in one week, and the pendant started turning green. We felt so disappointed! We were newlyweds and just out of graduate school, so we were strapped for cash, but we believed that this piece could have been an heirloom to last for a long time.
With that disappointment came the question of whether there was better in the market for people like us – someone new in their career, with new responsibilities but did not have too much disposable income. Also, with the understanding that they do not want to waste their money on low-quality pieces that tarnish in a couple of weeks. We all can’t afford real 14k gold jewelry, but that doesn't mean we can’t wear pieces that look like and feel like it. That’s where Admiral Row comes in.
