In 2021 we stumbled upon a pallet of wonky coffee pods that were heading to waste, even though the coffee taste great and worked perfectly. We rescued it and hand delivered them to like-minded people in our area who too wanted to stand up to this unnecessary waste.
3.2 billion cups of coffee are consumed every day but 40% of all food in the western world is produced only to end up as waste.
We set out on a mission stop this, rescuing coffee from far and wide. We are challenging stigma around speciality coffee and trying to influence an entire industry to do more. But the problem is much bigger than just coffee, and now we are tackling Chocolate to.
The world is wonky, but we want to put the wonk right today.
