Our platform walks users through an intuitive interview process that clarifies their situation, allowing them to determine whether they even need an attorney and informing them about their matter if they do need one.
LegalScout then provides a thorough case summary by recording and organizing all relevant details, making it easier for attorneys to understand and address the user’s needs quickly and efficiently. This “brief” is distributed – free of charge – to attorneys matching the case based on expertise, jurisdiction, and suitability. It features a summary of the case, the issues, case law and statutes, required information, and even a work and case award estimate. Should the attorney or law firm desire, they can purchase the user’s contact information to exclusively pursue an engagement with the user as a new client. (The “Conversion” event).

Commission Structure
We pay 15% of the basket value for each lead that is converted, where “conversion” means an attorney has purchased the personal contact information belonging to a brief.
Conversion prices for personal injury related leads will range from $500 to $1000 based on industry norms and geographic markets. As LegalScout expands to other practice areas, we believe prices will range from $50 to $600, depending on the domain, the brief, and the geography.
