Citizen Watch offers affiliates:
Currency
Financial transactions covered by this Template Term will be processed in the GBP currency. Currency exchanges will occur when you or your partner(s) have set a different default currency in account settings.
Change Notification Period
The Contract can be changed or cancelled with 1 day(s) notification to the Partner.
Reversal Policy
Reversal of performance advertising actions are decided by the Advertiser governed by a max reversal percentage of 100%
Partner Tracking Pixel
Advertiser allows Partner to fire their tracking pixel when the consumer action is completed.
Affiliate Terms and Conditions
Voucher Codes
Affiliates are reminded that only voucher codes specifically issued for affiliates by Citizen Watch are to be promoted. Only authorised voucher codes listed in AWIN shall be accepted. Any order/pending commission including a non-authorised voucher code shall be declined.
TQs/ Action Enquiries
Any TQ’s/commission/tenancy/bonus or other payment queries cannot be raised 6 months beyond the transaction date/agreed exposure go live date. Any transaction queries raised close to this time frame can be assessed on a case by case basis.
Google Shopping and product ads
Affiliates are NOT permitted to use Citizen Watch product feeds anywhere outside of their own sites. This includes, but is not restricted to, Google Shopping/Adwords. Affiliates are NOT permitted to run any Google PLA ads for Citizen Watch products. Any partner doing so will be immediately suspended from the programme.
General Promotion
Affiliates must only promote current offers. Any affiliate found to be consistently promoting out of date offers or pricing will be removed from the programme.
Affiliate Toolbars
Affiliates may not feature Citizen Watch on toolbars without written permission from Citizen Watch or their AWIN account specifically authorising this promotional method. Acceptance as a member of the Citizen Watch programme does not automatically authorise toolbar traffic.
Adware / Spyware
The use of adware and spyware is strictly forbidden.
Creative content
For the avoidance of doubt Citizen Watch shall have sole discretion over the final Creative Content.
If Citizen Watch wishes to update, modify or remove any creative content in use by Publishers or to discontinue the use by any Publisher of any creative content (a “Takedown Request”), it will notify Performics identifying the creative content to be removed, and providing the modified content (if applicable). Performics will notify Publishers of the Takedown Request within two working hours of the notice being received and of the importance of fulfilling the Takedown Request as soon as possible. Unless Citizen Watch agrees otherwise in writing, the Agency will make it a provision of the Publisher Agreement that if a Publisher has not complied with a Takedown Request within 1 working day of receiving notice the Publisher will be in material breach of contract and commissions incurred from the time of breach will be voided.
Publishers shall not:
- Delete or remove any proprietary notices or other notices contained within or relating to Citizen Watch materials
- Not edit in any way, alter, store, copy, disclose or use Client Materials, except as necessary and confirmed by Performics
- Preserve, so far as possible, the integrity of Client Materials and take best commercial steps to prevent any loss, unauthorised disclosure, theft, manipulation or interception of Client Materials
Publisher Screening Criteria
A Publisher’s website must not contain any of the following to qualify for and remain part of the Affiliate Program:
- Pornography
- Racism
- Violence, hate, crime
- Discrimination (on any basis)
- Publisher activities non-compliant with Performics Publisher Agreement
- Gambling
- Illegal content
- Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Content
- Excluded Publishers, as may be amended by Client from time to time on not less than seven days’ notice
Traffic Quality
Citizen Watch reserves the right to request Affiliates to provide further data and insights related to transactions generated across the programme, if these transactions have been brought into question and flagged due to quality and/or traffic source legitimacy concerns. If an Affiliate is found condoning fraudulent activity or fails to provide sufficient information regarding the validity of their traffic sources on request (e.g. referral URL’s, internal data reports, proof of exposure), Citizen Watch reserves the right to withhold the approvals of these transactions and thereby the commissions generated from these sales. Affiliates that do not comply with the Citizen Watch programme terms will result in pending commissions being declined and suspension/removal from the Citizen Watch affiliate programme.
PPC Policy
Affiliates must NOT bid on brand terms or any terms including the brand name or URL, including but not limited to:
- Citizen Watch
- www.citizenwatch.co.uk

In order to avoid broad and phrase match issues we also require affiliates to add ‘Citizen Watch’ as a negative into any PPC campaigns they are running.
Direct linking is also NOT permitted to the Citizen Watch site, nor is the use of any pseudo-Citizen Watch URL such as www.citizenwatch.ingo
Any affiliates driving activity using unauthorised 3rd party apps, websites or any other platforms imitating the Citizen Watch brand, may be removed from the program and potentially face legal action.
Branding: Affiliates may not alter any of the creative or text links available through AWIN. In order to prevent out of date content, affiliates may not hardcode the creative into their sites.
Cookie Period
The cookie window period for this programme is 7 days. Any invalid transactions after this period will not be paid for.
Payment
Publisher commission due on Net Revenue of Products will be paid up to 4 calendar months after the transactions generated. For example, transactions generated in January will be paid in April.
Any affiliate found breaking these programme restrictions risks suspension from the programme, losing any commissions accrued.
