Promotion Conduct Guidelines
Prohibited Practices
Affiliates must not engage in illegal, deceptive, or unethical promotion methods, including:
Generating fake clicks, conversions, or traffic via bots, automation, or artificial means.
Manipulating search engines through cloaking, keyword stuffing, or black-hat SEO.
Creating counterfeit sites/accounts that mimic the Merchant’s brand or mislead consumers.
Offering unauthorized incentives (cashback, rebates) to drive purchases.
Sending unsolicited spam (emails, messages) violating anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
Brand Usage Rules
- Affiliates may only use Merchant-provided brand assets (logos, trademarks) as specified. Altering, distorting, or misusing these assets is prohibited.
- Without written approval, affiliates shall not bid on the Merchant’s brand terms (or variations) in paid search (e.g., Google Ads) or use them in domains/meta tags.
Content & Disclosure
- All promotional content must be accurate, truthful, and free of false claims or defamation.
- Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with the Merchant (e.g., “Contains affiliate links”) per applicable laws (e.g., FTC guidelines).
Compliance & Enforcement
- Affiliates must adhere to local/national laws (data protection, advertising standards).
- Violations may result in commission withholding, program termination, or legal action at the Merchant’s discretion.
