Affiliate Terms of Agreement
This Affiliate TOA Terms of Agreement ("Agreement") describes the rights and obligations of Guiltypaws.com.
Guiltypaws.com reserves the right to reject any website or affiliate if we determine, in our sole discretion and following our review of your site, that your site is unsuitable for any reason, including, but not limited to, the inclusion of content that is in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. Guiltypaws.com has the right in its sole and absolute discretion to reject your application or to terminate your participation in the program, for any reason.
1] Brand & Reputation Protection
Affiliates shall not engage in any conduct that, in the sole discretion of Guiltypaws.com, damages or could potentially damage the reputation, goodwill, or standing of Guiltypaws.com. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Publishing misleading, false, or defamatory information about Guiltypaws.com.
- Associating Guiltypaws.com with offensive, illegal, or unethical content.
- Using black-hat SEO techniques or spammy link-building tactics to promote Guiltypaws.com.
- Any other deceptive marketing tactics that could mislead customers or harm Guiltypaws.com’s brand integrity.
2] PPC and Paid Traffic Restrictions
Affiliates are prohibited from:
- Bidding on branded keywords (e.g., "Guiltypaws," "Guiltypaws.com," "Guilty Paws" or any close variations or misspellings).
- Using Guiltypaws.com as a display URL in paid ads.
- Running paid ads that mislead customers into believing they are the official Guiltypaws.com website.
- Cloaking, redirecting, or using any deceptive means to hide affiliate links in PPC campaigns.
- Running unauthorized retargeting or remarketing campaigns using Guiltypaws.com-related terms.
- Using unauthorized or misleading ad copy, promotions, or offers that are not approved by Guiltypaws.com.
3] Direct Linking Restrictions
Guiltypaws.com prohibits affiliates from linking directly to our website from PPC campaigns. Affiliates must use their own landing pages before directing traffic to Guiltypaws.com.
4] Use of Affiliate Links
As an Affiliate Program member, we will make available to you a variety of graphic and textual links ("Links" or "Link"), which, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you may display as often and in as many areas on your site as you desire. The Links will serve to identify your site as a member of our Affiliate Program and will establish a link from your site to ours.
5] Prohibition on Mimicking Guiltypaws.com
Affiliate will not create a site that is confusingly similar to www.guiltypaws.com as determined by our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to sites that mimic or copy the look and feel, or the name of www.guiltypaws.com. Any variations of our name are prohibited.
6] Placement of Banners and Links
You may not place banners or links containing your affiliate ID on websites, forums, or blogs not directly owned or controlled by you. If you have questions about linking, send us an email.
7] Affiliate Tracking Cookie Policy
Your affiliate tracking cookie may ONLY be set on a user's computer when they click on a link from your website or your opt-in email newsletter that takes them directly to our website. Email spamming will NOT be tolerated.
Guiltypaws.com reserves the right to terminate any affiliate in violation of these terms and to forfeit any unpaid commissions associated with violations. We may also take legal action if necessary to protect the reputation and brand integrity of Guiltypaws.com.
