Who we partner with
We welcome content, editorial, and creator partners whose audiences align with modern women’s fashion and whose promotion is rooted in authentic storytelling.
Publishers whose primary business model is couponing, cashback, loyalty, rewards, browser extensions or toolbars, paid-search arbitrage, or deal aggregation are not permitted.
Editorial and content-led publishers operating via approved networks (e.g., Skimlinks) are permitted only if their activity is editorial and organic in nature and does not rely on restricted publisher models, unauthorized promo codes, or deal-based acquisition tactics.
Prohibited activity
- No coupon/“promo code” messaging unless provided by Rumored.
- No unauthorized codes, code scraping/leakage, or “fake code” pages.
- No direct-linking PPC, brand term bidding, or trademark-plus (“rumored code”, “shop rumored”, etc.).
- No downloadable software, iframes, forced clicks, or cookie stuffing.
- No email sends that imply affiliation with Rumored without written approval.
- No resale/redistribution of products.
- No sub-affiliate or third-party traffic may originate from coupon, cashback, loyalty, rewards, toolbar/extension, deal aggregation, or similar restricted publisher models.
Disclosure and compliance
All partners must comply with applicable advertising laws and guidelines, including FTC disclosure requirements, and clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required.
Attribution & cookie
- Attribution model: last-click. Cookie window: 45 days.
- Taxes, shipping, gift wrap, and returns are non-commissionable.
Reversals
During the program validation period, transactions may be approved or declined if deemed invalid or inconsistent with these terms.
Rumored reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, withhold, or reverse commissions for orders originating from prohibited publisher models, unauthorized promo code activity, trademark bidding, restricted paid-search activity, prohibited tracking methods, fraudulent activity, or restricted sub-affiliate activity, whether direct or indirect.
