IndieStitch Affiliate Brand Guidelines

1. Brand Overview

Who We Are: IndieStitch delivers curated sewing kits for women’s clothing projects, combining indie sewing patterns, beautiful fabrics, and all the notions needed—plus a supportive sewing community.

Core Message: We make sewing easy, fun, and confidence-boosting—whether you’re a beginner or experienced sewist.

2. Voice & Messaging

Tone: Friendly, approachable, supportive, and confident.

Keep Language Simple: About a 7th-grade reading level for public-facing content.

Encourage, Don’t Intimidate: Speak to all skill levels, not just advanced sewists.

 Words/Phrases You Can Use:

“Curated sewing kits”

“Beautiful fabrics and indie sewing patterns”

“Everything you need, in one box”

“Supportive sewing community”

“Step-by-step guidance”

Avoid Using:

“Chic,” “fashionista,” “premium,” “trendy,” “stylish”

“Creative adventure” or “inspiring”

Overly complicated sewing jargon

Anything that implies exclusivity (IndieStitch kits aren’t one-of-a-kind, just curated)

3. Visual Guidelines

Logos: Use only the official IndieStitch logos (provided in your media kit). Do not alter colors, proportions, or fonts.

Colors: Stick to the official IndieStitch brand palette for any graphics or overlays.

Photography: Use our provided lifestyle and flat-lay shots when possible. If creating your own, aim for bright, well-lit, clutter-free images that focus on fabrics, projects, and the joy of sewing.

Do Not: Add heavy filters, distort images, or overlay unrelated text/graphics.
