By submitting the Vagabond Life Affiliate Program application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
1. Submitting Your Application
Once you submit your application, you are bound by this agreement. You must provide accurate and complete information. Participation in the Vagabond Life Affiliate Program allows you to legally promote our website and earn commission on referral sales.
We evaluate each application and will notify you of acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application if your website, platform, or content is deemed unsuitable for any reason.
2. Inappropriate Content
Affiliation may be revoked immediately for any of the following reasons:
False or misleading advertisements about Vagabond Life.
Spamming using your affiliate link.
Using copyrighted materials without authorization.
Harassment, intimidation, or offensive behavior.
Content deemed graphic, explicit, or inappropriate by Vagabond Life.
3. Affiliate Links and Creative Assets
If approved, you may advertise using your affiliate link along with Vagabond Life images and promotions. You may use materials provided by us or create your own, as long as it complies with these terms.
4. Promotional Methods & Brand Usage
Trademarks: Affiliates may only use the Vagabond Life logo and brand assets provided by us or with prior written approval.
Paid Advertising / SEM: SEM is allowed only on generic keywords. Brand bidding, misspellings, or brand + keyword combinations are strictly prohibited. Direct linking from SEM ads is not allowed.
Domain & Social Media: Affiliates may not register or purchase domain names including Vagabond, Vagabond Life, vagabond-life.com, or any variations or misspellings. This applies to websites and social media accounts.
Editorial / Content Use: Affiliates may mention the brand in editorial content, reviews, or organic placements, provided it accurately represents the products.
5. Copyright and Trademark Infringement
Vagabond Life reserves the right to take legal action against affiliates that infringe our copyrights, trademarks, or replicate our product designs under another brand.
6. Self-Dealing
Affiliates may not use their own links to purchase products for personal gain.
7. Cookie Stuffing / Fraud
“Cookie stuffing,” forced clicks, or any technique designed to fraudulently generate commissions is strictly prohibited. Affiliates using such strategies will be immediately removed, and all commissions forfeited.
8. Disqualified Transactions
No commission will be paid for sales that:
Are cancelled, returned, or duplicated.
Fail a credit check or verification.
Violate program terms, brand usage rules, or unauthorized SEM.
Involve restricted content, including adult, gambling, alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, or restricted-age products.
Are fraudulent or involve misuse of promotions or discount codes.
Affiliates may not post negative commentary about Vagabond Life or place links on inappropriate websites.
9. FTC & Compliance Guidelines
Affiliates must comply with all applicable consumer protection laws, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and CAN-SPAM Act. Disclosure of any material connection to Vagabond Life is required in all content. Non-compliant affiliates may be terminated.
10. Commission Structure
Standard commission: 10% of net product value (excluding VAT, shipping, payment fees, gift wrapping, and service charges). Or 5% for discount focused websites.
11. Deduplication
Commissions are only paid once per transaction. Sales tracked through Vagabond Life’s own SEM, email, display, direct partnerships, in-house programs, or other affiliate networks will be excluded from commission. Generic SEM and approved price comparison partners are eligible.
12. Termination
Vagabond Life reserves the right to terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, for fraudulent activity, abuse of the program, or violation of these terms. No commission will be paid on disqualified or fraudulent transactions.
