All agreement elements mentioned below apply to all affiliates and any sub-affiliates of our affiliates. The agreement applies to to all websites and businesses owned and operated by the affiliate.
Linking directly to our site is prohibited. All ads must point to landing pages on your site.
Affiliates are prohibited from registering domains that contain our brand and typos or variations of our brand Cat Box Classics and Pier View Products.
Link Cloaking is prohibited without authorization.
Affiliates are prohibited from pay per click and paid advertising of our brand or products. Traffic sent to our site should come from organic traffic to an affiliate's website or through paid advertising for an affiliates website not mentioning our brand or products in the paid advertising.
Affiliates are prohibited from from using evasion tactics to hide the affiliate link when the visits are from either us or from search engine editorial bots checking on paid ads.
Any email marketing from or to your properties comply with the “can spam” act. Affiliates who operate editorial publications must also comply with new rules from the FTC when they are endorsing or recommending our products which require disclosure that the website is a compensated affiliate.
Ad copy and landing page copy regulations
Affiliates are prohibited from using our brand in ad copy text or in the display URL
Affiliates are prohibited false advertising or any claim that shows you or your competitors in a false or misleading light
Affiliates are prohibited from promoting old invalid offers that have expired
Affiliates are prohibited from using certain words such as “official” or “free”
Copying our landing pages.
Affiliates are prohibited from issuing press releases involving Cat Box Classics or Pier View Products and our merchandise.
Affiliates are prohibited from fraudulent activities like cookie stuffing, link interception and falsifying orders.
