Knowadays Affiliates: Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Knowadays on Awin! These terms explain how the program works and outline the rules for promoting our courses. If anything is unclear, you can reach us at affiliates@knowadays.com.
By joining our program via Awin, you agree to the terms below.
1. Getting Started
- All affiliate applications are reviewed manually. We reserve the right to approve or deny any application at our discretion.
- Once approved, you can promote Knowadays courses using your unique affiliate links provided through Awin.
- Please keep your login details and affiliate resources confidential. Don’t share materials or information with anyone outside your team unless we’ve approved it.
- This program operates with a seven-day closure notice period.
2. Commission and Payment
- You’ll earn commission on qualifying sales tracked through your Awin affiliate link.
- Sales are only eligible for commission after our 14-day refund period has passed. If a customer receives a refund within this period, the commission will be voided.
- Commission payments are processed through Awin in accordance with their standard payout schedule and thresholds.
Our standard cookie tracking period via Awin is 30 days. - If Awin cannot track a transaction, no commission can be paid.
3. Promotion Guidelines
As a Knowadays affiliate, you agree to:
- Promote Knowadays in a professional, ethical way
- Only use marketing assets we’ve provided or approved
- Ensure information about our products is accurate and up to date
You must not:
- Misrepresent Knowadays or our courses
- Impersonate Knowadays or claim to represent us
- Create websites or social media accounts using the Knowadays name or branding
- Promote using spam, misleading claims, or content that could be offensive or inappropriate
- Use discount codes not assigned to you through Awin
We recommend being transparent with your audience. A simple note in your content can build trust, for example, “This is an affiliate link – I may earn a commission if you purchase.”
4. Paid Advertising/Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Policy
To protect our brand and ensure fairness, affiliates may not:
- Bid on brand terms such as "Knowadays," "Proofreading Academy," or misspellings/variations of these on platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, etc.
- Use Knowadays terms in paid ad copy, headlines, or URLs
- Appear to impersonate Knowadays in any paid search or media placements
If using paid search campaigns, affiliates must add "Knowadays" and related brand phrases as negative keywords in these paid search campaigns.
We reserve the right to request evidence of ad activity if violations are suspected. While under review, commissions may be temporarily paused.
5. Prohibited Activities
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account if we find:
- Use of expired, unauthorized, or misleading discount codes
- Activity on coupon-only or gated deal sites without product content
- Self-referrals or fraudulent activity
- Use of adware, browser extensions, toolbars, popups, coupon injectors, or similar technologies that interfere with the user’s shopping experience or redirect traffic without consent
- Infringing content or content that promotes violence, hate, illegal activities, or adult/gambling material
6. Intellectual Property and Branding
- We grant you a non-exclusive license to use Knowadays branding only to promote our products through the affiliate program.
- You may not register or use domains, handles, or social pages that could be confused with our brand.
- If you notice potential misuse or infringement of our brand or materials, please notify us.
7. Termination
You may leave the affiliate program at any time.
We may remove you from the program if:
- You violate any part of these terms
- You remain inactive for an extended period (with or without notice)
- Awin flags your account for breach of their policies
Once your account is closed, no new clicks or commissions will be tracked. Pending commissions will be paid out unless invalidated by a breach, refund, or return.
8. Legal and Liability
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Knowadays is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or issues with third-party platforms (including Awin).
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or negligence causing personal injury.
- We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your affiliate link indicates you accept the changes.
