Blume Affiliate Agreement

This Affiliate Agreement explains the terms for joining and participating in the Blume Affiliate Program. By applying, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. “Affiliate,” “You,” or “Your” means the individual, creator, or business applying to promote Blume. “Blume,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Blume and its representatives.

Blume reserves the right to approve or decline any application, and to remove affiliates at any time. Applications may be declined or accounts terminated if your content promotes anything unlawful, offensive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to the Blume brand.

How you can promote Blume
Affiliates are encouraged to promote Blume products through approved text links, banners, creative assets, or unique content that fairly represents the brand. You may share links on websites, blogs, email newsletters, social media channels (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, and X), or through other methods that are transparent and aligned with our brand values. All content must accurately represent Blume products. Affiliates may not create false or exaggerated claims, alter Blume’s official creative materials, or replicate our website or product listings in full.

Spam of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes sending unsolicited emails, posting on irrelevant forums or comment sections, using bots or automated promotions, or posting on adult, hate, or spam websites. Any affiliate found to be spamming will have their account immediately terminated and will forfeit unpaid commissions.

Commissions and payments
When you are approved, you will receive a unique affiliate tracking link. This link records sales made by customers who visit Blume through your promotion. In order to earn a commission, the customer must use your tracking link before completing their purchase.

Commissions are paid monthly through ShareASale once you have earned at least $10 USD. Payments are made in U.S. dollars, regardless of where affiliates are located. If a customer cancels or returns their order, the related commission will be deducted from your earnings. Please allow up to 60 days for orders to be validated before commissions are finalized. Blume reserves the right to adjust payment timelines if needed, but notice will always be given in advance.

Customer relationship
Customers who purchase through your affiliate link are considered Blume customers. All customer service—including orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, and refunds—is managed solely by Blume. To protect privacy, affiliates will not be given access to customer names, emails, or other identifying information.

Use of Blume brand assets
All logos, trademarks, images, and creative assets are owned exclusively by Blume. Affiliates may only use creative that Blume provides, or custom creative that Blume has approved in writing. Our brand must never be misrepresented or displayed in a misleading, negative, or distasteful way. Affiliates may not alter logos or claim partnership status beyond being part of the affiliate program.

Program duration and termination
This agreement begins once you are accepted into the program and continues until either you or Blume choose to end it. Either party may terminate the agreement at any time by providing 14 days’ written notice. If your account is terminated due to a violation of these terms, unpaid commissions may be forfeited.

You are only eligible to earn commissions on sales made while your account is active. After termination, no further commissions will be earned. Blume may withhold final payments for a short period to ensure that returns or cancellations are accounted for.

Modifications to the program
Blume may change program terms, commission rates, payment procedures, or promotional guidelines at any time. Updates will be shared by email or posted in the affiliate portal. Continued participation after updates means you agree to the revised terms.

Program disclaimers
Blume makes no guarantees about the continuous or error-free operation of its website or tracking systems. While we strive for accurate sales tracking, no system can be 100% precise, and Blume is not responsible for technical issues beyond our control. Blume is not liable for indirect or incidental damages related to your participation in the program. Our maximum liability will never exceed the commissions you have earned.

Independent contractor status
As an affiliate, you are an independent contractor. You are not an employee, legal partner, agent, or representative of Blume. You may not act on Blume’s behalf, enter into contracts for Blume, or make statements suggesting you officially represent the brand.

Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, USA.

Paid search rules
Affiliates may not bid on Blume trademarks or branded keywords in paid search campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, “Blume,” “Blume.com,” “ElleBox,” “ElleBoxCo,” and variations or misspellings. Affiliates are also prohibited from bidding on combinations of Blume trademarks with generic terms such as “Blume skincare” or “Blume coupon.” Written approval is required for any exceptions.

FTC compliance and disclosures
Affiliates must comply with all FTC guidelines. Any page, video, or post that contains affiliate links must clearly state the affiliate relationship in a way that is easy for audiences to understand. A disclosure such as “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my links” is required. If you receive products from Blume for free, this must also be disclosed clearly. Failure to disclose affiliate relationships can result in immediate removal from the program.
