ProWritingAid Affiliate Program Terms
ProWritingAid is the essential toolkit for storytellers, helping over 4 million writers craft their stories and bring them to life. Our 25+ comprehensive reports provide actionable feedback on grammar, style, structure, clarity, and more—empowering every writer to communicate with confidence.
Commission Structure
$0.25 per verified free sign-up
$20.00 per confirmed sale
30-day cookie window
Performance-Based Bonus System
Earn $100 bonus for generating $1,000 in sales per month
Earn $500 bonus for generating $4,000 in sales per month
Earn $1,500 bonus for generating $10,000 in sales per month
Bonuses are calculated monthly and paid through AWIN.
Payment Terms
Payout Frequency
AWIN processes payments on the 1st and 15th of each month. If either date falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be issued on the next working day.
Minimum Payout Threshold
To receive payment, your balance must exceed the minimum threshold set by AWIN:
£20 for GBP
€20 for EUR
$20 for USD
Payments are subject to AWIN’s processing and approval timelines.
Brand Bidding Policy
Bidding on the ProWritingAid brand name or close variants (e.g., prowriting aid, pro writing aid, pro-writing-aid) in paid search or ad campaigns is strictly prohibited.
Violations will result in immediate removal from the affiliate program and forfeiture of all accrued commissions. This policy is non-negotiable.
Prohibited Affiliate Practices
The following practices are not allowed and may lead to suspension or removal from the program:
Sites or campaigns featuring misleading or deceptive offers
Sites comprised primarily of coupons, voucher codes, or similar promotional content without added value
Sites flagged by spyware, malware, or phishing detectors
Impersonating ProWritingAid, including use of fake branding, customer support, or domains suggesting official affiliation
Content & Promotion Guidelines
Affiliates must promote ProWritingAid in a truthful and transparent manner
Spammy tactics (e.g., mass unsolicited emails) are prohibited
Preference is given to content-driven promotion, including blogs, YouTube videos, tutorials, and reviews
Affiliates may not present themselves as employees or official representatives of ProWritingAid
Affiliate Activity & Account Status
Affiliates who do not generate any sign-ups or sales within 12 months of joining will be removed
Affiliates who are inactive for 12 consecutive months will also be removed
Fraud Prevention & Quality Control
We reserve the right to review, withhold, or reverse commissions resulting from:
Fraudulent activity (e.g., self-referrals, fake sign-ups)
Low-quality or irrelevant traffic sources
Violations of program policies
We may request proof of promotional activity and reserve the right to audit affiliate practices at any time.
Program Modifications & Termination
ProWritingAid reserves the right to modify commission rates, bonuses, or terms at any time, with or without notice.
Participation in the affiliate program is at the sole discretion of ProWritingAid. We may terminate any affiliate account at any time for any reason.
