GoSun Inc. Affiliate Program: General Program Terms & Conditions
By joining the GoSun Inc. Affiliate Program on Awin, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a fair and successful partnership for all parties involved in promoting our innovative solar-powered products.
1. Commissionable Sales & Tracking:
GoSun Inc. will pay affiliate commissions on anything sold or pre-ordered through our new and improved website.
All sales will be tracked via your unique affiliate link provided through the Awin Network.
A 30-day cookie period applies to all referrals, ensuring you receive commission for sales completed within this timeframe after the initial click.
2. Commission Structure:
A base commission rate of 10% will be applied to all qualifying sales generated through your affiliate link.
3. Prohibited Promotional Activities:
Coupon/Discount Code Promotion: Affiliates are strictly prohibited from promoting coupon or discount codes on their websites or any other promotional channels. We do not work with affiliates who engage in this activity.
PPC Bidding: Affiliates are strictly prohibited from participating in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) bidding on any keywords related to GoSun, its products, or any variations thereof. This includes brand bidding and generic bidding that directly competes with GoSun's own paid search efforts.
4. Brand Guidelines & Content:
Affiliates must adhere to GoSun's brand guidelines in all promotional materials. This includes correct usage of logos, brand colors, and tone of voice, as outlined in our Brand Guidelines document (available within your Awin affiliate dashboard).
Content should be informative and accurately represent GoSun's products and mission. Misleading or inaccurate information is strictly prohibited.
GoSun provides updated creative in industry-standard sizes for your use. We encourage the use of these provided assets to maintain brand consistency.
5. FTC Compliance & General Promotional Standards:
As an affiliate partner, you are required to comply with all applicable Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, particularly regarding endorsements and testimonials. This means transparently disclosing your affiliate relationship with GoSun Inc. in a clear and conspicuous manner.
Disclosures must be prominent, presented clearly, properly placed, and proximate to the endorsement or affiliate link. Examples include phrases like "I earn commissions from purchases made through these links". On social media, #ad or #sponsored should be used, and in videos, verbal disclosures are necessary.
All advertising and claims made by affiliates must be truthful, non-deceptive, and provable. Prohibited practices include posting fake reviews, suppressing negative reviews, or making false claims.
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring data privacy and complying with relevant regulations such as GDPR if targeting users in affected regions.
GoSun reserves the right to review affiliate content for compliance with these standards and our brand guidelines.
6. Program Compliance & Termination:
GoSun Inc. reserves the right to review and approve all affiliates joining the program.
Any affiliate found to be in violation of these terms, including but not limited to, unauthorized coupon code promotion, PPC bidding, or non-compliance with FTC guidelines, may have their commissions reversed and their partnership terminated immediately. We actively monitor for compliance.
We may also decline applications from sites with a poor track record of incorrect voucher codes, abuse, or those that do not align with our product or brand.
7. Payments:
Commissions will be paid out monthly.
