1. Nature of Relationship
Publisher is offered the opportunity to earn a commission for referring visitors (“Valid Leads” to the MyRegistry.com website who complete a “sign up and a transaction” (As defined below) Publisher will post links to MyRegistry.com on Publisher’s website, newsletter, or blog for the purpose or driving potential customers to create a universal gift registry on the MyRegistry.com website. These links may be in the form of a pre-approved banner, blog content, or other promotional activities that MyRegistry may approve.
2. A Valid Sign Up
Publisher will earn commissions on the following action. Customer must sign up for a Baby or Wedding gift registry or an event specific Wish List, such as a Christmas or Graduation Wish List at MyRegistry.com through a qualified link on Publisher’s website and add at least ten gifts to that registry account using the Add to MyRegistry button within 30 days of completing their sign up. Each time this action takes place, that specific customer will be counted as a Valid Lead and Publisher will earn a commission on that customer. Customer must reside within the United States of America or Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
3. Invalid Leads
MyRegistry.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any leads for fraudulent activity, including but not limited to robotic sign ups, account creation with fictitious names or email addresses, accounts opened up with temporary email addresses, employees or agents of the Publisher, hidden frames or other activities that indicate that the gift registry was created for the sole purpose of generating a commission.
4. Trademark Bidding
Publishers may not conduct any search engine marketing, including but not limited to paid search campaigns that include the MyRegistry.com name, logo or slogan or any other trademarked term within their own SEM campaign.
5. Other Terms
Publisher will not include in its site, content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, racially, ethically, or otherwise objectionable. Publisher may only drive traffic within the confines of the United States of America and Canada.
